Performances

Performing for weddings, private and corporate events in metro Atlanta and throughout the Southeast.

Solo guitar: Solo guitar music adds a nice touch to any or event. The portability of the instrument makes it perfect for outdoor or indoor ceremonies, as well as any private party.

Guitar & Vocals: Many of my performances are instrumental background music, but I do sing in performance setting as well. It's nice to be able to weave in and out from instrumental music to guitar & vocals as it seems fit to do so.

Venues include: Lake Oconee Ritz Carlton, Atlanta Ritz, Four Seasons Hotel,Chateau Elan, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Flint Hill, CNN Center, FOX Theatre, GA Tech, Emory University, Private Residences & Clubs, Art Galleries, various Dahlonega venues, and others....

"Having a great deal of performing experience,
I always aim to tastefully cater to the needs and uniqueness of each event.
I look forward to working with you!" ~ Johnna Jeong

FAQs:

Q: How much do you charge?
A: Each event is different, travel distance is factored in as well as length of performance. Please fill out my contact form with as many details as possible and I'll respond promptly.  (Date of your event? Time of your event? Where is your event (venue name)? How many guests? How long is your event? For wedding inquiries, will I be needed additional for the cocktail hour or only for the prelude & ceremony? Do you want only instrumental guitar music? or guitar & vocals?)

Q: Where can I hear your music and see you song list?
A: Easy! The link buttons above will route you to various media sources. Also, please fill out a contact form and I'll forward repertoire lists and additional sound files to you.

Q: Do you bring your own equipment?
A: Yes. I use my own amplification. For smaller events I use an acoustic amp (Schertler Amps) and for larger events I bring an additional speaker. If I'm performing with my duo it's a slightly different set-up.

Q: Do you only perform as a soloist?
A: Not always.
In the recent past, most of my performing has been as a soloist, once in while I'm in Duo & Trio settings spanning a mix of jazz, classics and popular music.  From time to time I perform in the orchestra pit for off-broadway musicals.

Q: How will we select out ceremony music?
A: I'll walk you through the process. Some of my clients choose to meet with me in person at my teaching studio, while others prefer to communicate via e-mail & phone. I'm flexible.

Testimonials

"Johnna was so easy to work with and she was so sweet throughout the process! I had requested her to learn a song for my ceremony, and it turned out beautifully! She was very good about responding and again, just so easy to work with. On the day of my ceremony, it rained...but Johnna remained professional and kept on playing for my guests! The way she plays the guitar was so pretty for my outdoor wedding. I would recommend her for anyone who wants acoustic for their wedding or just to have great ambiance at any function. Thank you so much Johnna!"

"Dear Johnna,  Thank you so very much for agreeing to play at our daughter's recent wedding. I have only just now been able to view the video to hear the music which you played before we were allowed to enter the sanctuary, and you played beautifully. What a lovely way for our guests to enter. The delicacy of sound created a more prayerful atmosphere and helped us convey the message that the event was not about dresses and hairdos and the food to come, but was about a sacred marriage commitment for life between two people. I enjoyed so much hearing the selections of music and wish I could have been sitting in the room listening to you play live. So many many people told me how much they enjoyed the music. Godspeed in all of your future performances."

"We recently employed Johnna to perform at a Make-A-Wish (R)  future major-gift philanthropy reception. She was prompt and professional. Not only was her performance excellent, it was a great enhancement to the overall event!"
